Admissions
We are still in the planning and arrangement stages: securing our property and finalising our registrations. We do not have an address or an opening date yet, but it is coming soon. If this is for you or someone you care about, please register your interest — we will keep your details securely and reach out the moment we open. Just hold on; we will be there for you.
Our home will be for adults who have finished detox and are ready to do the work of rebuilding their lives. Here is who we will admit and how admission will work once we open.
Men and women aged 18 and older who have completed 14 to 28 days of medically supervised detox or primary residential treatment, and who choose to join the programme voluntarily.
At intake we ask for a discharge summary from the treating facility, a medical clearance certificate and a negative drug and alcohol screen. Every resident signs a house agreement covering the daily schedule and our zero-tolerance substance policy.
We are not a detox clinic and cannot admit people who need medical withdrawal, have unmanaged psychosis or high medical needs, or have certain violent or sexual offences.
A family member, the person in recovery, or the treating clinic can get in touch by phone or email.
Our counselling team talks through the person's history, goals and current treatment, and explains how the home works.
We review the discharge summary and medical clearance, and confirm a negative screen on arrival.
The resident signs the house agreement, settles in, and begins Phase 1.
As a non-profit, we want cost to stand in the way of as few people as possible. Resident fees are set on a sliding scale, and we are working with medical schemes, employers and sponsors to fund beds for those who cannot pay the full amount.
